Classic Game Room reviews SOUL REAVER for the original PLAYSTATION 1 video game console! This Soul Reaver review was recorded in the year 2000 and features the original CGR team of Mark and Dave. Soul Reaver is an amazing video game on the PS1 and the Sega Dreamcast. It should see a remake soon for the PS3 or Xbox 360 video game systems if the stars align and become awesome video game designers and remake Soul Reaver in HD for a next gen game console. You play as Kain and romp through a mysterious world of living and dead with your SOUL REAVER to reave some bitch-ass souls. Controls and graphics and gameplay are excellent, sound is top notch and this is a highly underrated video game when you really get down to it. How does trash like Tomb Raider continue to get remade and SOUL REAVER does not? It plays like an action adventure RPG game in this gothic realm where you can shift realms and cool stuff like that. Soul Reaver is hype! Check out the gameplay and footage in the review and you'll want to reave some souls like it was 442ad! Classic Game Room serves up the dopest video game reviews this side of Alpha Centauri!

Classic Game Room season 1 - 2/10/2000 The boys at CGR reave some souls in this dark, gothic thriller on the Sega Dreamcast. Now this is a game that should be remade for Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Change dimentions, impale villagers and blow #^$& up in this fantastic game. Are you a happy, go-lucky sort of chap? Well then you should be impaled and set on fire in Soul Reaver. Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. The Classic Game Room is available on DVD at stores like Amazon****

Classic Game Room reviews the Sega Dreamcast video game console released on 9/9/99! One of the many days that the world was supposed to end was actually a day to celebrate because the Sega Dreamcast was released and it promised to change the world! Sadly, 2 years later support had dwindled and popular support was pulled. How is it that one of the greatest video game systems in history could suffer such a short lifespan? Well, collecting a Sega Dreamcast and a library of awesome games has never been easier or more affordable. Filmed on the 10 year anniversary of the North American release of the Dreamcast, CGR takes a look at the awesome white box with the orange swirl. Fans of arcade titles, shooters and Sega classics should definitely consider a Dreamcast as a contender for their next game system. Controllers, cords and memory cards are easy to come by and classics like Shenmue, Sega GT, Sea Man, Giga Wing and Chu Chu Rocket (DC version) are only available on the Sega Dreamcast. There are more than 600 games released for the system, including many that saw a sub-par release on the PS1 like Soul Reaver. The Dreamcast is literally on sale these days thanks to eBay and the fact that it is now a decade old.

Classic Game Room - WOLFENSTEIN for Xbox 360 video game review! This CGR review of Wolfenstein has gameplay from Wolfenstein on Xbox 360, also on PS3 Playstation 3. Wolfenstein is like Call of Duty 2 meets Soul Reaver crossed with Bioshock. The single play campaign is extremely cool and lots of fun. The folks at id have poured a lot of creativity into Wolfenstein to make a first person shooter that stands out from the crowd, and thanks to the massive dose of style and awesomeness they've done just that. Return to Castle Awesomestein! Slaughter Nazi bad guys with a variety of WWII weapons and some serious sci-fi type stuff like particle beams. Use your Veil, upgrade your MP-40 and rock this game with some shooting mayhem. Take the time to explore and find some gold, I really dug Wolfenstein and enjoyed the storyline, gameplay and art design. I did not like the multiplayer because it was jerky, odd and strangely out of date. The maps were sloppy and overall presentation was kind of wack compared to the big multiplyer games like COD4, WAW and Halo 3 on XBLA. Aside from that I'd recommend Wolfenstein for those looking for a memorable and action packed first person shooter adventure worth playing more than once.

Classic Game Room season 1. January 6, 2000. Review of FIGHTING FORCE 2 for the Sega Dreamcast Video game console. There are a lot of great games on the Sega Dreamcast. This isn't one of them. This is possibly the worst game on the DC, FF2 does nothing well. Not one thing. Seriously. Game Room reviewed this back in early 2000 when games like Soul Calibur, Hydro Thunder and Soul Reaver were out. How could they even think this game would compete? This is a science fiction action shooting game like a first person or third person shooter. You run around like a bohunk with a gangsta John Woo sideways gun grip and shoot people, do back flips and basically just suck. Although this game takes place in the future we're glad this game is from the past so we never have to look at it again. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Classic Game Room HD marked the return of the series in 2008. The original Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and PlayStation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.
