The intention of this short film was to fly onboard the NASA Ares 1-X space rocket on 28. oct. 2009. The 325 feet tall Ares 1-X is NASAs next-generation spacecraft and launch vehicle system after retirement of the Space Shuttle.
Unfortunately I was not able to complete this clip in time...
The clip was uploaded to the NASA server on 09. jan 2010 and will be included on the next NASA launch.
On the April 30, 2010 GTA area secondary and Ontario Science Centre Science School students joined Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield for a special presentation about the future of living in space and participate in a Q&A before screening IMAX Hubble at the Ontario Science Centre's OMNIMAX Theatre.
Apparently feeling rather frisky after 50 years of space exploration, mankind celebrated the anniversary of its maiden space voyage with another kind of big bang last Saturday, April 12, at NASA’s Ames Research Center and air strip in Mountain View.
