The Power Of The Mother - Motivational Speech
People often questions, is it okay to lie at times? What can be the possible repercussions of the same? How should our speech be to avoid hurting anyone? How can we create more impact on people around us?
Have you ever hurt anyone by your words? Have you ever thought how this speech is spoken? When you pluck a string on a sitar, how many different sounds does it produce? Many. In the same way, as soon as you have the desire to utter just one word, other words will formulate and be spoken automatically. But, how can we improve our speech to make it universally acceptable, that which doesn't cause harm to anyone? C
In this video, Pujya Deepakbhai explains that the ultimate goal of human life is to achieve moksha (liberation). There are two stages of moksha. The first stage is freedom from all problems / sorrow in our life, be it in relationships or business or in any other aspect. It is the right understanding of who am I / Self awareness that will help us solve our problems. The second stage is the ultimate and last stage of liberation. More than sacrificing clothes / food etc, it is important to tackle our own mind-body-speech complex. Watch this video to find out more.
Self-realization is to be aware of the Soul. Such a state of awareness will be a gradual development. No suffering / negativity would touch you when you are totally aware of the Soul. Atma-sakshatkar is to keep observing the non-self part, the mind-body-speech-intellect, and observe what they are doing. Watch this video to find out more about what 'Atma-sakshatkar' is exactly.
What causes karma?
Pujya Deepakbhai explains that the underlying wrong belief of who am I, is the cause of all karmas. All the activities-behaviour-speech of the body and ego are considered as your own - which leads to the binding of karma. The real Self-realization is to know and be aware that you are a pure Soul. Karta-bhaav is the root cause of all karmas. If one does anything wrong, then one should do bhav pratikraman (repentance) - seeking for forgiveness (in your mind) from the Soul of the person you hurt.
Who am I?
That is the fundamental misconception everyone has. Pujya Deepakbhai explains that the owner and the things owned are always two separate entities. So when we say 'my body,' the body is one entity and the owner of the body is a different entity. Similarly, 'my ego, my speech, my behaviour' etc are all separate from who I really are. The "I" is different from everything that falls into the "My."
Humanity means not hurting other people. Dada says that, if we aren't able to give happiness to others it is fine but our objective in life should be not to hurt anyone by our mind-body-speech. And, if it happens, be it intentionally or unintentionally then we should immediately ask for forgiveness.
