Ok so I told you guys back when I started my marathon training that I would keep you guys posted/updated on my status and how the training is going. I am so happy to say that the training is going amazing and I'm really excited about the big day!
What I want to talk about today is the beginning of my training and some of the things I had to change/give up in my life. I had to change my lifestyle. I had to change my sleeping and eating habits. The sleeping wasn't a big deal...and changing my eating habits wasn't a big deal either except for the fact that....I HAD TO GIVE UP CANDY! I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love candy!
Anyway, when I started my training I had to do a lot of things that I wasn't necessarily comfortable with. Running this marathon is definitely not a part of my comfort zone. But I had committed to running this race so I just accepted the fact that I was a little uncomfortable/scared but I stepped out of my comfort zone and started my training anyway.
The same thing happened when I started building my 5linx business. When it came to making videos, the first video I made took like 64 takes and it took me all night Sunday and half a day on Monday. By the time it was finished, I wasn't even happy with the results I just had to put out the video. That experience was SO uncomfortable! I didn't know how to act in front of the camera, what to say, or how to have a conversation with the camera but I knew that if I wanted to build my business and get better that I was going to have to continue making videos. So that is exactly what I did, I accepted that the experience was going to be uncomfortable at first but I stepped out of my comfort zone and continued to make videos and because of that I am getting better and better.
So I want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone to try something new. Maybe it's something that you have always wanted to do or are in the process of doing or maybe you have a home based business, MLM, network marketing, pyramid scheme, direct sales, traditional business, online business, whatever you want to call it ;) Or if you are associated with any of these companies... Quixtar, Sango, Pre-Paid Legal, Vemma, CAN, SGR, Costal, fhtm, Road to Riches, VM Direct, Herbal life, 5linx, Isagenix, zrii, goji, ytb, xooma, xango, monavie, freedom rocks, uvme, costal, youngevity, Watkins, vitamark, international, usborne, books at home, silpada sterling silver jewelry, reliv, pampered chef, oxyfresh, muskin, nikken, nht global, melaleuca, mary kay, mannatech, market America, life force, international, freelife, ffsi, financial freedom society inc, eniva, discovery toys, cognigen, arbonne, business opportunity, ameriplan usa, jerky direct, our book business or any other company and you are wanting to expand your business, just remember to acknowledge that you are going to be uncomfortable at first but it's so worth it in the end!
Mr. Boggs Steps Out is a delightful popcorn movie. A young man who’s just another cog in the giant corporate office, Stuart Erwin, uses his innate and uncanny ability to keep track of statistics to win a major contest and a substantial sum of money. The world is Erwin’s oyster, and he decides to leave the big city for a small town where he can continue to be a big fish. He makes the seemingly mundane purchase of a barrel factory, but this is where his adventures really begin. Mixing in with wealthy entrepreneurs, and their beautiful and perilous women, Erwin begins to understand how difficult and treacherous the high life can be. Mr. Boggs Steps Out is a well paced and well acted film, thanks in no small part to the drop dead gorgeous Shakespearian actress Helen Chandler.
