on April 4th at Cartoon Upfront Execs announced that this coming fall the latest animated Batman Series will begin airing on Cartoon Network. The series, titled Batman the Brave and the Bold, from the same production team as the Legion of Super Heroes series, will follow the format of the Brave and the Bold books and basically be a team up title and will feature heroes such as Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and more. The new series will be rooted in its own continuity and while the art appears to be a bit campy with it airing on friday night along with the clone wars it might be a bit more mature in content that the previous series. This continues the great tradition of batman animated series and looks to be exciting. I think that Cartoon network is a good home for the show and the brave and the bold format will keep it fresh and exciting throughout. The other characters he partners up with are said to be providing the comic relief which will be good to play off the dark style of batman. The art is an interesting pop art style definitely leaning toward the golden age costumes I'm curious as to what time it will be set in. Animated fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming year with Batman The Brave and The Bold coming to Cartoon Network, Wolverine, and Iron Man coming to Nick toons which you can get more info on in a previous Shazap segment. Keep a look out

The summer of Super heroes begins with this weekends release of Iron Man. Wanted will come on June 13th followed by The Incredible hulk on June 18th. While it’s not based on a comic book Hancock, the will Smith super hero movie is also due out on June 2nd as well as Hellboy July 11th and the Dark Night July 18th. It is a testament to the strength of this genre that the studios are set to release this many movies in such a short amount of time. The comic book fans are passionate and will continue to support the films. They have everything we want from a summer block buster: action, special effects, strong sexy women and personal growth. It’s all coming to you this summer so get to the theaters and enjoy.

Finally, You Can Fit Back Into Your Skinny Jeans and Wear Tiny, Sleeveless T's without the Fear of Jiggly Arms, Thunder Thighs, Scary Cellulite, or a Flabby Belly Hanging Out the Sides Discover the Secret Method Busy Moms Are Using to Burn the Lingering "Baby Fat" and Get Their Body Back with Fun, Fast Sessions You Can Do in Your Living Room If you've spent hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on pills, weight loss diets, personal trainers, bulky cardio equipment or even plastic surgery, but nothing has helped you lose the remaining baby fat and get your body back, then this is by far the most important letter you'll ever read. Hi, I'm Holly Rigsby, CPT, and an enthusiastic, on-the-go BUSY Mom to 6 year old Tyler (who is "into" Marvel Heroes, Transformers, soccer and baseball). He brightens my every waking hour and keeps me involved with imaginary games of super heroes and baseball in the backyard. He tires me out, but the busy Mom lifestyle alone wasn't enough to help me lose the lingering "baby fat" after pregnancy. I tried aerobics classes and yoga sessions, but they didn't help either. My body needed a better workout, but in less time than ever! Plus, if you're like me, you don't have time to spend driving to and from a noisy, stinky, commercial gym leaving your child in a "day care" where qualifications are questionable. And you don't have time or energy to waste on long, slow boring aerobic workouts. You need results and you need them fast while still having the time and energy to care for the never ending needs of your family.

shazap**** Wow this movie was great! Even thought I am not a big Iron Man Fan this is definitely one of my favorite super hero movies. It had action, humor, and excitement wrapped into what was definitely the best written film of the genre that I’ve seen. There was the perfect blend of origin and action and the dialog really keeps the pace of the movie going. Guys you can even take your girlfriends to this one without having to promise to see Sex and the City later on. The effects are near seamless and the suit is just kick ass. It delivered in the box office too exceeding expectations and coming in as the second biggest non sequel opening behind the first Spider-Man. This is a great way to start off the summer of super heroes and sets the bar really high. Go see this it’s a movie you’ll want to catch a couple times before it leaves the theaters and when you do, stick around for the closing credits you won’t be disappointed.

shazap**** I thought this movie was great. It wasn’t as entertaining a movie as Iron Man was but I feel like they just did everything right. The cameos were appropriate and in the right place, the characters were very true to their being, and how they handled banners relationship with the Hulk was very good. The dialog was a little stale, but the story itself was great. One of my favorite things about the movie was how they revealed the Hulk. I mean it was a good 40 minutes into the flick before we saw its face. It added just the right amount of mystery and anticipation. I was a little worried about how the cgi characters would look but I gotta tell ya I didn’t think they were half bad. The transformation stuff was awesome and the faces looked pretty realistic. The action was amazing. Really one of the best I’ve seen. The super soldier fight was really well done and they did a good job of opening up the captain America movie. I have to say thought that my favorite aspect of the movie was that the hero just flat out beat the other guy. He didn’t need any help or some lucky move he just overpowered the bad guy and won. It is one of my greatest pet peeves in the super hero movie genre when the hero needs help to win. Superman needed the Parker Posie character, Iron man needed Pepper Pots, Batman needed Gordon, and so on. The Hulk just proved that he was the better man. Really good definitely a must see and if you can see it somewhere that has an extra large screen all the better.
