My reaction to "Cidny Bullens" is, it doesn't teach me anything, so I'd rather myself look back to a tomboyish girl from once upon a time, named, Cindy Bullens that teaches me the importance of being a natural woman that she was back then. Thanks to me, who helped CD Baby re-release her first 2 albums, "Desire Wire" and "Steal the Night" in the mp3 format by purchasing a money order, so here is the story:
Cindy Bullens (born Cynthia Bullens March 21, 1955) is an American singer-songwriter who grew up in Massachusetts. Bullens released two albums in the late 1970s on United Artists and Casablanca and another in 1989.
Bullens' 1978 debut album, Desire Wire is described flatly by William Ruhlmann for Allmusic as: "One of the great lost rock albums of the 1970s, Bullens' debut release is full of tough, passionate, incredibly catchy rock & roll played to the hilt and sung with fire". These early albums anticipated later work by a host of 1980s female and female-identified rock artists, from Pat Benatar, to Blondie, to the Go-Go's, to Headpins.
In 1974, Bullens performed background vocals on Gene Clark's album No Other and as one of the Sex-O-Lettes on the debut album by Disco-Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes.
Bullens also served as a backup vocalist on Rod Stewart's Atlantic Crossing and with Elton John on three major tours, as well as his album Blue Moves and his hit with Kiki Dee, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (both released in 1976).
Bullens provided vocals on three songs ("It's Raining on Prom Night," "Mooning," and "Freddy, My Love") on the soundtrack of the 1977 feature film, Grease. The album release Grease was nominated for the 1979 Grammy Award for "Album of the Year".
In 1980, she earned another Grammy nomination (as "best female rock singer") for her single "Survivor".
In January 1980, Bullens hit the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "Trust Me." It peaked at #90. Bullens withdrew from the music business in the early 1980s to raise a family, returning i

Demo Lesson Tips
After an initial interview and platform training, most applicants go on to teach a demo lesson with a real student. This demo is key to getting the job and plays a big part in determining your hourly pay so it’s important to be prepared! Here are some of my top tips for demo lessons.
- Spend a little time getting to know your student. While lessons are provided we are really given the freedom to connect with our students and tailor our lessons to their needs and interests. Taking the time to find out more about your student helps them feel more comfortable, gives you an idea of their level and gives you something refer to back to later in the lesson. Even young students can show/tell you their favourite toys or animals with pictures and TPR!
- Try and expand the lesson content and relate it to the student. You can do this even with low-level students by asking them about their likes and dislikes.
- Have your classroom prepared. Wear light blue if you can and have a clean or educational background.
- Use TPR and props. You don’t need to go out and buy lots of props but a puppet and some lesson related props can help engage the student. In a pinch, I’ve even hand drawn flashcards or showed pictures on my phone!
- Give plenty of positive praise and don’t forget the stars! You can give students five stars for each lesson which they can collect and exchange for toys and merchandise.
Hello! My name is Teacher Keri, and I teach online! I have taught in a variety of capacities with my church, teaching children ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years… and even some adult classes! Hello, my name is Liz Javier, and I am an official stateside contracted Recruiter for Landi English, as well as a Regular Teacher. I have a Master’s degree in Education, with an emphasis in ESOL, and I have been teaching ESL for over 5 years now. Within those 5 years, I’ve held different positions that have allowed me to work directly with the ESL student population. I have my own local business, where I tutor both children and adult ESL learners. I was also a language interpreter for my local school district and a Red Cross volunteer for interpretation services during national disasters.
I decided to start teaching online because I started to homeschool my 10-year-old son, and 6-year-old daughter. I wanted the opportunity to continue to teach from home, so I started doing research on different online schools. I decided to apply for Landi English because I was looking for a company that held high standards for their students and teachers, that would provide comprehension training, as well as offer a stable work schedule. I found all three of these requirements with Landi English.
All mothers teach many lessons to their kids, Aone of them was ‘don’t throw things’. This guy should have listened to his mother.
Hi, my name is Carley Clagg. I began teaching ESL after dropping out of Nursing school after a brain tumor diagnosis and life-saving spinal surgery. My limitations led me to find a passion for teaching English to children! I’ve been working with Magic Ears since December 2017. Within one month of working as a teacher, I was promoted to a secondary position in social media. Please watch my video above, and if you think you qualify, you can use my referral link for Magic Ears to get priority viewing on your application.
Tips for submitting a good intro video with your application:
- Keep it short, 1-2 minutes long
- Highlight your teaching personality, not your resume
- Use TPR and props
- Have a friendly, energetic personality
