Ave Maria! This song, In the Breaking of the Bread, sung by Fr. Maximilian Dean and Michael Grogan puts into music today's Gospel reading of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus and how the risen Lord appeared to them, but they did not recognize Him until the breaking of the bread, a good meditation on finding Jesus today in the Eucharist. Words and Music by Michael P. Ward, World Library Publications. Come, walk down the road with us... Ave Maria!

Call it a twist on the classic game of pick-ups.
“Alert! They’re single! Breaking news!”
A new Facebook app can notify you when that crush you’ve been stalking, I mean, following, is at long last, single.
So how can you simplify your love life with this new addicting app? Southwest Florida’s WINK News says unlike love, this app is easy.
“The new app allows users to pick friends whose Facebook relationship status they like to monitor. When that status changes, the stalker, or user is notified via e-mail. The creator said he made it as a joke but the free app attracted more than 100,000 users in less than 24 hours from mostly the United States.”
But is the new break-up notifier app a necessity for the average Facebook user? A blogger from The VillageVoice thinks, maybe not.
“Here's the thing: if there's someone whose relationship status is so relevant to your interests that you would actually download an application to stay on top of it...You probably check their profile multiple times daily already. Adding that application could push you over the edge into stalker-land.”
But others say you can’t put a price tag on love. Evidently the creator of the break-up notifier, David Loewenherz, didn’t get the memo. The cost of being the love ambulance after a tragic break-up could eventually run you as high as five dollars to be “in the loop.”
“I know and then what if you are in a relationship with someone and they find out that you’re tracking three other people?”
In terms of privacy the app could lack - a blogger for Guyism shares one of his fears.
User, stalker, whatever you might call yourself, a blogger from CNET says the app is meant to be a good thing.
“You don't want to miss your chance. Surely, all is fair in love and war. And, when it comes to love, it's always a war.”
So what do you think of the relationship tracker app? Never know when true love might change? Or -- creepy?
