After the sin bath we all took on Tuesday with 2012, we thought a little throwback fun and nostalgia was in order. Enter: The Running Man... a movie that is difficult not to like for anyone that grew up in the 80's. Still has sins, of course. Next week: Two sins videos you guys have been pretty adamant about getting. Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we recount next?

Recorded this months ago with Miki and Misha; at the same time as the melbourne shuffle. I was lasy for ages, but here it is finaly, all edited and whatever. It's shorted than the shuffle because there's no switching or anything - just continuous "running". I know a lot of you are eager to learn the running man, but I have a special place in my heart for the shuffle :D which is why I put that vid up first. Well, enjoy and practice lots and lots!

I got that Boom Boom Boom, we like that Boom Boom Boom! After busting out the Running Man and Coffee Grinder while listening to the bass-o-licious Black Eyed Peas on the new HTC Rezound, my thirst for booming bass within the smartphone world had been quenched.

Classic Game Room reviews SMASH TV for Arcade / PC from Midway, originally released in the arcades as a most-awesome coin-op machine in 1990. Using the Robotron 2084 style twin stick joystick controls, Smash TV elevates the frantic Robotron style gameplay to a new level and fuses it with "The Running Man" and Robocop. This CGR review of the Eugene Jarvis and Mark Turmell classic arcade game Smash TV has gameplay from Midway's Smash TV showing HD game play of Smash TV during the Classic Game Room video review of Smash TV.

Classic Game Room HD reviews MADWORLD for Nintendo Wii published by Sega! This review has Madworld gameplay footage from Sega's Madworld for Nintendo Wii showing Madworld being played in HD (upconverted from component). What a game! Who complains about the lack of violent, explosive, action packed video games on the Wii with games like Mad World? The gameplay in Mad World is fast paced, violent, over the top and completely insane. It's like playing a living comic book. Sin City, Hard Boiled and numerous other dark, black and white comics come to mind (although Hard Boiled was in color, the environment, detail and carnage feel familiar). Madworld puts your character in the ultra violent game show of the future, like The Running Man. Except all is not as it seems and Madworld has an interesting plot to compliment the uber violent nature of the game. The graphic novel style and unique Nintendo Wii controllers enhance the experience with a unique sci-fi horror feel and excitement. It's like The Running Man meets Escape from New York. Whip you Wiimote around to impale people on spikes or crush them in garbage cans. Bloodthirsty hordes of drugged out mungheads wander the streets of Deathwatch waiting to be cut in half with a chainsaw. Evil Dead 2 anyone? Madworld should appeal to anyone looking for an action packed, blood soaked free-for-all on the Wii which has good controls and excellent graphics and gameplay. Not for young children or those scared of cartoonish blood. Marks, pimps and playa's step up to the mastery of MADWORLD for the Nintendo Wii! Classic Game Room HD reviews Madworld for Wii as a Nintendo Wii reviewer reviewing Wii games, how is Madworld reviewed? Watch and learn, sucka.

Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room HD reviews ASSAULT HEROES for Xbox 360 Live Arcade! Assault Heroes for XBLA is an amazing game that harks back to the days of olde, the years of yesteryear when we played games like IKARI WARRIORS and COMMANDO in the arcades!! An amazingly fun game that reminds us of 1980's action films like Predator and the Running Man, Assault Heroes is a joy to play because of the excellent control scheme for the game. It's just like Robotron 2084 and Smash TV where you control the movement of the heavily armored Micro Machine Death Machine with your left analog stick, and control the direction of fire with the right analog stick. Booya! Mow down lines of bad guys like Princess Vespa in Spaceballs! There's no Force Unleashed in this game, this game is all about powering up your minigun, flamethrower and rocket launcher and blasting hordes of tanks, soldiers, mecha and other various angry and color bad guys. The gameplay is fast and ferocious and you'll see game footage on screen of us plowing our way through forests, seas and futuristic bases. It is a top down perspective game that has terrific co-op gameplay for two players over Xbox Live Arcade XBLA. Assault Heroes is published by Sierra (I LOVE SPACE QUEST BRING IT BACK) and developed by Wanako Studios. The sequel is Assault Heroes 2, we'll do a review of that. It costs a few Microsoft points these days, has achievements that you can earn and also supports HD graphics. Not on PS3 or Atari 7800... yet. Achievement.
