Humans have twice as much lymph fluid in the body as blood. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system does not have a pump. In order to move, lymph relies on blood pressure and the relaxation and the contraction of the muscles and joints. Your lymphatic system can easily become stagnant, especially when it becomes overwhelmed with toxic debris. The combination of a toxic lifestyle and lethargy is a recipe for chronic disease. All things in nature have a natural progression. When this progression is inhibited, health deteriorates. Think of a river. A healthy river runs clean and clear compared to stagnant water. Imagine them clogged and the resulting backup. Picture an engine and car oil, and you can equate our lymphatic system to an oil filter. Imagine how sluggish and constrictive the engine would be if the oil wasn’t constantly filtered. Sluggish lymph fluid is a breeding ground for infection. Stagnant lymph interferes with every system of the body. Because lymph cleanses nearly every cell in the body, symptoms of chronic lymph blockage are diverse. While most people prefer to identify one specific cause of a disease, there are rarely fewer than three and can often be hundreds. The point is, if the body is unhealthy, the lymph is unhealthy, too. If the body is sick, the lymph is sick, too. Symptoms of lymphatic congestion include: Rings get tight on fingers Skin is puffy, showing edema Soreness, stiffness, achiness in the mornings Arthritis Lethargic, drained, sluggishness Bloating, water retention Itchy skin Bad skin (dryness, acne, premature aging, etc.) Breast swelling or soreness with hormonal cycles Brain fog Cold hands and feet Chronic headaches and/or migraines Cellulite Cancer Diabetes Chronic inflammation

how common is skin cancer in children |skin cancer mortality Children have a small risk of skin cancer if they are not protected, but burns in childhood can have major repercussions when they reach adulthood, is these burns greatly increases their chances of skin cancer, including melanoma.” (the risk of melanoma is likely increased with even less than 6 severe sunburns). Recognizing the seriousness of skin cancer in children is one of the steps in protecting them. Apply sunscreen, cover exposed skin with clothing, and diagnose potential skin cancer for optimal skin protection. 1 Cover up sun-exposed areas. Ensure that your child is covered up when exposed to the sun for long periods. Even while at the beach, you should have your child wear a t-shirt while out of the water. Consider a one-piece swimsuit for girls and/or a rash guard or swim shirt for girls and boys. [12] You can also encourage your child to take cover under an umbrella or shaded area. 2 Cover your child’s head. Make a habit of having your child wear a hat when outdoors to avoid skin cancer risks. A hat with a brim that covers the face and neck is ideal. If you are consistent, your child will adjust to wearing a hat outside when it is sunny. [13] Choose a hat with a brim that’s at least three inches all the way around. 3 Opt for sunglasses for your children. Just as adults should protect their eyes from the sun, children should too. Again, if consistent, children should not have a problem wearing sunglasses on sunny days. [15] Choose sunglasses that protect from UVA and UVB rays. The sunglasses should fit snugly on your child’s face

How to tanning and skin cancer |melanoma treatment Skin cancer is best defined as the abnormal growth of skin cells, often due to too much sun exposure, but there are other factors to consider also.[1] There are three main types of skin cancer, which are named based on which layer of skin is affected: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Melanoma is the rarest form, but also the most deadly type because it's most likely to spread to other parts of the body. Checking your skin for unusual changes on a regular basis can help detect cancer in its early stages, which gives you the best chance of successful treatment. 1 Focus on skin most exposed to the sun. Although skin cancer can develop anywhere on the body, it's most likely to occur on areas with the most sun exposure.[2] It's the UV radiation in the sun that damages the DNA of skin cells and makes them mutate into cancer cells. Thus, spend more time checking parts of your body that get the most sun, such as your scalp, face (especially your nose), ears, neck, upper chest, forearms and hands. Look for unusual marks and blemishes on your skin, especially new growths (see below). It's obviously a good idea to not let certain areas get constant sun exposure, but some outdoor jobs make it difficult. If you can't always cover skin up, then apply a strong sunscreen that blocks out UV radiation. Women tend to be more susceptible to skin cancer on their legs and upper arms because they wear skirts, shorts and halter tops. Check your skin for unusual spots while you're naked (just prior to bathing, for example) so you can see as much of your skin as possible. Use a magnifying glass if your eyesight is poor. 2 Determine your risk factors. Some people are more susceptible to skin cancer than others because they have more risk factors. The main risk factors currently identified include: fair skin with freckles, red hair, over-exposure to UV radiation (from the sun or tanning beds), history of serious

How to diabetes and cardiovascular disease Heart disease is an umbrella term that covers a variety of cardiovascular conditions, including blood vessel diseases, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, congenital heart defects and infections of the heart.[1] Although heart disease is a serious condition, there are some simple steps that you can take to lower your risk of developing heart disease, such as eating a heart healthy diet, staying active, managing stress, and quitting smoking. Some factors are beyond control, but you can help to protect yourself from heart disease by taking charge of the factors that you can control. 1 Lose weight if you are overweight. Carrying extra weight puts a strain on your heart which can cause heart disease later in life. You are at an even higher risk if you carry excess weight around your waist. Strive to maintain a healthy weight to avoid complications of being overweight now or later in life.[13] Check your BMI using the American Heart Association's BMI calculator 2 Exercise for 30 minutes five days per week. Getting 30 minutes of moderate physical activity five days per week will help you to protect yourself from heart disease. Developing good exercise habits from a young age and maintaining those habits for your lifetime will improve your chances of staying in shape and reaping the benefits of exercise for your heart.[14] Aim for five 30 minute moderate exercise sessions five days per week, but keep in mind that you can divide these sessions into smaller ones throughout the day. For example, you could exercise for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night, or do three 10 minute sessions spread throughout the day. As an alternative, you can do 25 minutes of vigorous activity three days per week and some kind of moderate to high intensity muscle training twice per week. 3 Manage stress. Stress causes damage to your arteries which may lead to heart disease, so it is important to develop techniques for managing stress.[15

A faerie tune performed on flute and accompanied by twin acoustic guitars and playful percussion. Flute - Lee Fitzsimmons * Marimba - Lee Fitzsimmons * Live Takamine acoustic guitars - Lee Fitzsimmons * Acoustic bass - Lee Fitzsimmons * Kick drum, rainmaker, wind chimes, guiro, claves, triangle, shaker, and sleigh bells - Lee Fitzsimmons This woodland-flavored composition is straightforward and simple. The twin acoustic guitars ring some high-pitched chords using different inversions as the kick drum and acoustic bass set up the beginning groove. The guiro along with two sets of differently pitched claves play a coordinated figure, giving the introduction a very distinctive color that continues throughout the piece. When the flute enters with the main melody, the entire ensemble begins playing the main groove as the rainmaker pours water over the mix. This tune consists of three sections that repeat until the song fades. At the end of the first section, the flute begins jumping octaves as it simulates the flight of a butterfly or a faerie. The sleigh bells enter at the beginning of the second section and the guiro and claves drop out. In the third section, the melody merges with the underlying harmonic structure and the two become one. The entire form then repeats several times before the piece ends.

How Many Nuts You Need To Eat Daily? For pistachios, it’s recommended that you eat day because they’re pretty high in calories. Three ounces will cost you about 400 calories which is a shame because pistachios are so easy to crack open and enjoy that it’s easy to lose count. Always be careful about how the pistachios are served, or any nut for that matter. Pistachios by themselves do not contain very much sodium but if you’re eating a couple handfuls of salted nuts, your sodium intake will shoot way up.
