Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS REBEL ASSAULT for Sega CD from Lucas Arts released in 1993. Play as Rookie One and fight with the Alliance against the dreaded Empire in famous scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy. Blow up At-At Imperial Walkers, Tie Fighters and even bullseye womprats in your T-16. Star Wars Rebel Assault is an early game using FMV (Full Motion Video) from the Star Wars movies and even includes new scenes shot specifically for this videogame. Gameplay varies and Star Wars Rebel Assault may be slow and clumsy compared to newer Star Wars games yet it packs a unique charm with some cheesy but entertaining cut scenes and Star Wars style action. This CGR review of Star Wars Rebel Assault from Lucas Arts and JVC has gameplay from Star Wars: Rebel Assault on Sega CD. This game was also sold for PC and Star Wars Rebel Assault on 3DO.

Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS ARCADE for Sega 32X! This Star Wars game is an awesome arcade style flight simulator where you blow away TIE Fighters with your X-Wing fighter or Y-Wing. This was an early 1994 release for the ill-fated Sega 32X add-on for the Sega Genesis and intended to show the 32x's awesome power, which is does! This arcade style flight action video game is slick with 3D style gameplay allowing one or 2-player co-op gameplay (in the Y-Wing fighter) against the evil Empire! This CGR review of Star Wars Arcade for Sega 32X has gameplay from Star Wars arcade on Sega 32X for the Sega Genesis w/ 32 X adapter.

Classic Game Room HD reviews COSMIC CONFLICT for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console. The O2 was called the Philips Videopac G7000 in Europe and Cosmic Conflict is called awesome everywhere. Back in 1978 after watching Star Wars before it was destroyed and Battlestar Galactica when Faceman from the A-Team was on it, you could play Cosmic Conflict and be blown away by flying through space and shooting 15 enemy space ships! No more.. no less, 15. 16 is right out. Earn the rank of Commodore 64 or be fired in disgrace, Cosmic Conflict may not be terribly exciting to look at today but this game is an amazing piece of history. It is similar to STAR SHIP on the Atari 2600 except without a moving starfield or oat cluster shaped asteroids. The viewscreen resembles the view you'd get in FPT first person shooter today and the space ships look like Lego TIE Fighters. Anyway, if you collect Magnavox Odyssey 2 games this is one you should play if, for no other reason, you can be promoted to Commodore 64. Classic Game Room is the ultra hyper retro gaming review show. If you like old school video games and retro reviews then you should be watching Classic Game Room... or playing Cosmic Conflict!

Rebel Strike review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS ROGUE SQUADRON 3: REBEL STRIKE for Nintendo Gamecube from Factor 5 and Lucas Arts released in 2003. The third and final installment in the awesome Rogue Squadron series brings amazing visuals and gameplay that continue to impress years later. Awesome space combat scenes have you piloting X-Wing fighters, Y-Wings, B-Wings, the Millennium Falcon, TIE Fighters, Jedi starfighters and more against waves of Imperial scumbags driving AT-ATs and more. Bizarre and out of place foot sequences call attention to themselves as being the weakest elements in Rebel Strike but fail to bring the game down because it's more awesome than not. CGR Rebel Strike video review features Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3 Rebel Strike gameplay in HD recorded from the Nintendo Wii. Awesome game and an awesome series worthy of playing today, tomorrow and in a galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars Flight of the Falcon review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts, not a trap! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS FLIGHT OF THE FALCON for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance from 2003. Flight of the Falcon is a flight action game that drops players into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon to destroy waves of TIE Fighters and other bad guys from the original Star Wars Trilogy. While Star Wars Flight of the Falcon may have good intentions the game runs terribly and missions take too long and become repetitive.

Battle 7 'Treachery at Ottega', Mission #4: TIE DefenderDarth Vader as my wingman, how cool is that?"Upon discovery of Admiral Zaarin's plot against the Empire, Lord Vader assembled a flight group for a journey to Coruscant to inform the Emperor. Having worked closely with Admiral Zaarin and currently serving aboard the Garrett, Vader selected Maarek Stele to lead his mission to Coruscant. Vader departed the Garrett with his assembled team aboard the newly assigned TIE Defender starfighters. In order to reach the Emperor, Vader arranged for Nebulon-B2 frigate Osprey to rendezvous with his TIE Defenders from group Delta. Before their departure, a member of the Secret Order informed Stele of the gravity of his mission; Lord Vader must reach Coruscant at all costs, he must be prepared to fight his way out of any trap or ambush.TIE Defenders Delta emerged from hyperspace into a trap laid by Zaarins rogue forces. Interdictor Harpago had positioned itself in the system to thwart the departure of Lord Vader with its gravity well projectors. Rogue Assault Gunboats immediately attacked the loyal TIE pilots, even though heavily outclassed. Stele and Vader mowed down rogue starfighters with astounding zealousness. Despite the combined talent of an Imperial Ace and the Dark Lord of the Sith, rogue Imperials had deployed numerous starfighters further delaying Deltas assault on the Harpago. Frigate Osprey arrived during the fighting; the Harpagoanswered by deploying TIE Bombers to assault it. Fierce starfighter combat had bred expediency; TIE Defenders Delta soon turned on Interdictor Harpago with a payload of Proton torpedoes. Harpago fought desperately against the loyal Imperial forces, to include exchanging Turbolaser fire with the Osprey, but soon fell prey to the notorious piloting skills of Delta 6, Darth Vader, and his wing mates. With the silence of the Harpago, Defenders Delta boarded Frigate Osprey. Delta received a payload upgrade to Concussion missiles for the upcoming sortie, as Frigate Osprey departed for Coruscant to deliver the news to the Emperor. I have never completed TIE Fighter, and this game includes 2 expansion packs, so I've got a lot of surprises ahead of me. And because I'm a rookie at this game, so I don't know every bonus mission, and I probably die often, but I edit the deaths out so you don't have to watch everything again and again. And oh, this is not a complete extra ultimate edition super walkthrough, it's just me. :)Because of the 10 minute limit, these videos will come in bits and pieces.

Battle 5 'Battle for Honor' Mission #4: Tactical Superiority Part 1/2This one a little "late" as well. I'll try to put videos more often, now that my WAR subscription ended, I'm going to continue it, but not now.Okay so, again, too hard for me. I'm no pro ace at this game, I'm just human."Tactical superiorityImperial forces stranded Harkovs Star Destroyer Protector following the successful interdiction of the Rebel supply convoy. Imperial leaders chose this time to eliminate Harkovs fighter screen of TIE Avengers. Keeping the pressure on, Gunboat pilots from Mu integrated themselves into fresh TIE Avenger starfighters, leveling the playing field against Harkovs relentless waves of Avengers in previous missions. Avengers Mu returned to the system near platform DS 5 with orders to destroy as many enemy TIE Avengers as possible, at least fifty percent of Harkovs squadrons, to pave the way for the next phase of the attack. Agents of the Secret Order had instructed at least one pilot from group Mu to inspect any transport craft that may enter the system, hoping to establish Harkovs exact location. Imperial pilots noticed two Cargo Ferries laying a minefield around DS 5 as they squared off with incoming Avengers H-Beta. In the moments to follow, Imperial starfighters collided in a maelstrom of missile and laser fire. Having finished the minefield, Harkovs Cargo Ferries entered hyperspace as rogue and loyalist TIE Avengers continued their furious dogfight. As loyalist starfighter pilots gained the upper hand, a single fighter disengaged to inspect the new arrival from the Protectors hangar. Emerging from the Protector, Shuttle Toten headed to platform DS 5, while the Protector subsequently prepped its hyperdrive engines. Avenger Mu 2 passed Shuttle Toten just before it entered the hangar, revealing Harkov inside. Imperial fighters had successfully eliminated the required first half of Harkovs Avengers as two Alliance Assassin-class corvettes Wurger arrived. Mu 2 again diverted to inspect Wurger 1 and 2, moreover upon discovering troops aboard, Mu 2 proceeded to destroy corvettes Wurger single-handedly. With the successful destruction of countless Avengers and Corvettes Wurger, Imperial starfighters left the system to prepare for the final assault.
