Paul Hayward started DJing only five years ago after buying a pair of Pioneer CDJs from a friend who was in need of some urgent cash. A Sunday afternoon learning how to use the 900s soon turned into 10 hour-a-day musicthons as he became engrossed in mixing classic rock tracks until he had the sounds of the seventies flowing seemlessly. As any real DJ knows, if you can manually mix two old school rock songs you can knock of EDM and Hip Hop mixes in your sleep and soon the effects box was his new favourite toy. Mash-ups were soon the order of the day which is what led Paul from the basement to the big room clubs of Bangkok after meeting one of Thailand's best known DJs at a small house party he was playing at for a friend of a friend. When The Grinder heard Paul play he knew he's discovered the next big thing on the Bangkok DJ circuit and invited Paul to become his warm-up act at gigs in Phuket, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and the capital Bangkok.
