Ronaldo escaped without any injury. The only victim was his new Ferrari. LONDON (TICKER) —Manchester United wing Cristiano Ronaldo walked away uninjured after crashing his Ferrari sports car on Monday. The front of the high-performance vehicle was completely demolished after it hit a roadside barrier under a tunnel near Manchester Airport. Police spoke to the Portuguese winger at the scene and he then made his way to the clubs training ground near Sale. The crash happened on the A538 which takes traffic under the airport runways between Wilmslow and Hale. The 23-year-olds red Ferrari struck a metal hand-rail which guards an emergency exit door in the tunnel. Skid marks were clearly visible at the scene of the crash and one of the wheels came off. At about 10:20 a.m. police were called to the A538 Wilmslow Road near to Manchester Airport following reports of a road traffic collision, Greater Manchester Police said in a statement. Officers attended and discovered a Ferrari had collided with a barrier. No one is believed to have been injured. Inquiries are continuing. Manchester United confirmed the Ballon dOr winner was unhurt. He was involved in an incident this morning. No other cars were involved, a club spokesman said. Hes fine and is training as normal with the team. Ronaldo came on as a substitute in the final 30 minutes of his teams 1-0 Carling Cup defeat to Derby last night. His teammate, goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, was reported to have been traveling behind Ronaldo at the time of the crash. The Ferrari was later loaded on to a recovery truck, covered in a black sheet, as the road was reopened.

Not lookin' to be discovered, but thought you'd get a kick out of hearing what I ended up with after a little audacity action on my laptop! I'd still need a little more equipment, effects, and yes, practice before it would start sounding respectable, but I was happy with the result :-) I did the rhythm guitar & vocals all in one pass, then went back, a little overdub on the intro lead to get some harmonies, but the middle was one shot. All the photos were taken during the deployment period except for the one of Teresa in blues and the very first one of her in her cammies & sunglasses. I was trying to show all the stuff she missed out on while away: house remodel, Robert's first day of school, Family Day, Robert's birthday, my promotion to Major, weddings, parties, concerts, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Robert getting his front tooth knocked out, our traffic collision, my birthday, Christmas, New Year, her mom's birthday, etc, etc... But tried to keep a little humor in there and make the photos try to match what was going on in the song.

An accident is a specific, unidentifiable, unexpected, unusual and unintended external action which occurs in a particular time and place, with no apparent and deliberate cause but with marked effects. It implies a generally negative probabilistic outcome which may have been avoided or prevented had circumstances leading up to the accident been recognized, and acted upon, prior to its occurrence. Experts in the field of injury prevention avoid use of the term 'accident' to describe events that cause injury in an attempt to highlight the predictable and preventable nature of most injuries. Such incidents are viewed from the perspective of epidemiology - predictable and preventable. Preferred words are more descriptive of the event itself, rather than of its unintended nature (e.g., collision, drowning, fall, etc.) Accidents of particularly common types (auto, fire, etc.) are investigated to identify how to avoid them in the future. This is sometimes called root cause analysis, but does not generally apply to accidents that cannot be deterministically predicted. A root cause of an uncommon and purely random accident may never be identified, and thus future similar accidents remain accidental. Contents [hide] Narrowly defined, the designation may refer only to the event, while not including the circumstances (facts surrounding) or results of the event; i.e., accident is constrained to an immediate incident, the occurrence of which results in an unplanned outcome. In common use, however, accident may include the entire interacting circumstantial framework (chance, pre-existing, or uncontrolled dynamically developing conditions; commonplace actions; random time and place; participants; etc.) leading up to, including, and resulting from, the accident's immediate occurrence.Accident will happen unknowlingly and due to our ignorance.eg:trying to move a bike in a place which is not more than the space of a bike, also known as crash [edit] Types [edit] Physical and non-physical Physical examples include, e.g., unintended collisions or falls, being injured by touching something sharp, hot, or electrical, or ingesting poison.
