Amitabh Bachchan’s wax statue in Madame Tussaud’s, London will be shifted to the Hong Kong branch of the organization for five months. Big B will be the first Bollywood star to appear there. It seems Bachchan's wax figure is incredibly popular with the Indian community both in Hong Kong and abroad. It is said that, the shifting of statue may attract tourist towards Hong Kong. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar unveiled his wax statue in Mumbai. The wax statue will be inaugurated at the Tussauds on April 24, his birthday. With this, Sachin Tendulkar became the first Indian sportsperson, whose wax statue will get a place at Madame Tussauds. ‘It is a great honor to be there at the Tussauds. I know I am the first sportsperson of the country to be there. I think it is an appreciation and a reflection of my contribution to Indian cricket’, he said after unveiling the statue. Earlier, wax statues of Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aiswharya Rai and Salman Khan were inducted into the Madame Tussauds. Watch the video for all the details

The 10th anniversary of IIFA awards 2009 is one of the most well-known and happening event of the year. This event witnessed, almost the entire Bollywood crew which included all Indian beauties and hunks of the industry. However, the Bachchan’s had become the cynosure of all eyes – Thanks to Big B being the brand ambassador of IIFA awards. Although the IIFA awards was inaugurated on 11th June, the Bachchan family had reached Macau a day prior to witness the preparations going on for the awards. Big B and his family caught the crowds’ attention through out the event. Even at the opening of the show, Senior Bachchan took away people’s breadth with his charming personality and excellent oratorical skills. Not only that the wax statue of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, was flown in from London's Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum to Macau for the IIFA celebrations, which was unveiled by the megastar at the event. The actor, accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, unveiled the statue at a green carpet event. The family bagged 3 IIFA awards this year and has been very emotionally attached with the IIFA. No wonder Big B was all smiles while attending the awards!
