In London, we had the privilege of having Zappa plays Zappa (Dweezil, Gail, Moon, Diva and Matilda Zappa, Scott Thunes, Pat Travers and the Mighty Boosh) Yellow Shark Roundhouse Uncle Meat Dog Breath November 5th 2010 - London Contemporary Orchestra Celebrating one of the 20th century's most remarkable musicians and composers, Frank Zappa at the Roundhouse features a kaleidoscopic exploration of his music and influences. Performances by Dweezil Zappa, members of Frank's touring and recording bands, the UK's best contemporary classical ensembles and an appearance by Gail Zappa are accompanied by talks, films and exhibitions. Frank Zappa at the Roundhouse has been made possible by the generosity and collaboration of Gail Zappa and The Zappa Family Trust, and offers a tribute to his amazing music and continuing legacy... 'anything any time any place for no reason at all.' What a weekend I've had. My girlfriend is soon going to give birth to our 1st child. Baby on the way and a weekend of Zappa. Couldn't ask for anything better... and my toilet screwed up this weekend... big leak on my return home. Yep it blew up that weekend, I called the plumber. He didn't mention tampoons. I guess my weekend was too perfect, so god readdressed the balance of happiness in the universe by screwing toilet. Still, it's been a fantastic weekend. I'm soon on my way to watch Greggary Peccary. Bliss!!!
