I made a slideshow with in honor of this truly historic day in US history. Finally, Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a Dream" speech has been realized. Today, January 20th in the Year 2009, Barack Hussein Obama has been sworn in as the 44th President of The United States, the First African American President in or nations history. The young 47 Senator from Illinois beat Hillary Clinton to become the Democratic nominee, beating Republican nominee John McCain in a near landslide victory on November 4th, 2009. He has now been officially as our 44th President, the new Comander in Cheif of the United States.Michelle Obama and their two beatiful daughters where in attendence as well His Vice Presidential pick, Joeseph Biden was sworn in shortly afterwards, becoming the 44th Vice-President of the United States. This also represents the much anticipated departure of the 43rd President of The United States George Walker "Dubya" Bush and representing his last official day in office. Former Vice President Richard "Dick" Chenney, though confined to a wheelchair was officially finished his two terms as V.P. "Change", "Hope" and re-establishing Americans reputation around the world, build a greener, stronger, more energy independent econmomy, a strong military, and public service comittment from conciencious inividuals who are willing to sacrifice for this great nation. Barack H. Obama has been compared to MLK, JFK, RFK and Nelson Mandela.
