Slime is always popular with the kids and the reason is simple: because it's loads of fun! It is also cheap and easy to make at home, with the right care and supervision. Pick one of the four ways to make different kinds of slime, below, to get started. Things You'll Need ================ Basic Slime ------------------- ½ cup (30 ml) of craft glue 1½ cup (150 ml) of warm water Food coloring (optional) 1 tablespoon (18 grams) borax powder "Living" Slime ---------------------- ¾ cup (20 grams) cornstarch 2 cups (240 ml) vegetable oil A piece of styrofoam Edible Slime -------------------- 1 can (14 oz.) of sweetened condensed milk 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of cornstarch 10-15 drops of food coloring Soap Flake Slime ---------------------------- 1 cup (130 grams) soap flakes 5 cups (510 ml) hot water Food coloring (optional) Tips ==== -Keep the slime away from pets and very small children. -Make sure your kids don't get the slime on areas where it'll stain or damage the surface (ceiling, walls, carpet, furniture, etc.). -When you put food coloring in it, make sure you don't get it on yourself. Mix it well. -The recipe can be modified by varying the proportions of ingredients. For example, if 2 parts borax solution are used, the slime that forms is "harder" and less gooey. -If you add color to the slime, it may stain things. -You can add essential oils or scented liquid soap to the slime to make it smell nice. -If you are making your slime with detergent, be sure to use non-organic detergent. -After you make your slime, do not put it on and fabric or carpet and let it dry. Otherwise, it can stain the fabric. -The more lotion you add the more stretchy it will become. Just be careful because the lotion also makes the slime very sticky. -Elmer's glue is one suitable brand of glue. It is more generally known as polyvinyl acetate. -This solution is best enjoyed on the day of creating it. The slime will gather fluff, dust and particles that make it unpleasant to keep.

anginarex com Atrial Fibrillation Symptoms And Treatment - What Are Atrial Fibrillation Symptoms And Treatment? What are the symptoms? Many people with atrial fibrillation (AF) have no symptoms, particularly if their heart rate is not very fast. The AF may then be diagnosed by chance when a doctor or nurse feels your pulse. Your pulse rate may be fast, the rhythm is irregular and the force of each beat can vary. Any symptoms usually start suddenly, soon after the AF develops. Possible symptoms include: A 'thumping' heart. This means that you become aware of your heart. You may feel it beating in a fast and irregular way. Dizziness. Chest pains (angina) may develop. The pains tend to occur when you exert yourself but they may also occur even when you are resting. Breathlessness is often the first symptom that develops. It may occur all the time but you may become breathless just when you exert yourself, such as when you walk up stairs. What are the treatment options for atrial fibrillation? The treatment for AF either controls the heart rate or changes the rhythm back to normal. Because of the risk of blood clots forming and causing a stroke, the treatment also usually includes medication to prevent blood clots (anticoagulation).

Low Testosterone levels is not an uncommon thing. In the USA, approximately 9 out of 10 people suffering from low testosterone levels go untreated. That is mostly because Low-T can affect many aspects of health and wellness, and so the various symptoms are often attributed to other problems that may or may not exist. Some of the symptoms of Low-T are: loss of sex drive, weariness, trouble sleeping, obesity, and more. These issues are also sometimes attributed to aging in general, and while it is true that Low-T becomes more likely in older men, it does not mean that it has to go untreated. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is more accessible that ever, and more affordable. HRT treatments are varied for many health problems, but one of the primary uses is to treat hormone imbalance in adults, including testosterone supplementation. And although there are never any promises regarding HRT (every patient has different reactions, and while it is largely effective, sometimes results are not everything that was hoped for), HRT has proved to be the answer for many people. If you think you may have Low-T, contact your physician, educate yourself about HRT, and consider contacting us. We are a certified Hormone Replacement Therapy group, with clinics across the 50 United States. Please look us up at Conscious Evolution Institute of Hormone Replacement Therapy, and visit us at HGH Dot TV.

Maintaining your treadmill. There are a few things you can do to ensure your treadmill is running at its best and you get a longer life out of it. Like any other machine it does require maintenance. The first is lubrication. You just need to lubricate the top side of the running deck as this is the side the mat will actually rub against when you're walking or running on it. Most treadmills require a silicone lubricant to be applied every one to two months but this can vary depending on how much use the machine has and will vary between models.

What is radiation? Radiation is energy that travels as a wave or particle. Some types of radiation, called ionizing radiation, can be harmful. Radioactivity is ionizing radiation that is given off by substances, such as uranium, as they decay. About half of the ionizing radiation we're exposed to comes from nature. It's in rock, soil, and the atmosphere. The other half comes from man-made sources like medical tests and treatments and nuclear power plants. How much radiation is dangerous? There is always a risk of damage to cells or tissue from being exposed to any amount of ionizing radiation. Over time, exposure to radiation may cause cancer and other health problems. But in most cases, the risk of getting cancer from being exposed to small amounts of radiation is small. The chance of getting cancer varies from person to person. It depends on the source and amount of radiation exposure, the number of exposures over time, and your age at exposure. In general, the younger you are when you are exposed to radiation, the greater the risk of cancer.

Heavy metal toxicity can cause a variety of signs and symptoms. While manifestations of toxicity vary among the many toxic metals, several symptoms are often observed and may be indicative of heavy metal toxicity (Adal 2013): Nausea Vomiting Diarrhea Abdominal pain Central nervous system dysfunction Heart problems Anemia Fingernail or toenail discoloration (Mee’s lines; usually appearing as white stripes running horizontally across the nails) Acute metal toxicity can be a life-threatening medical emergency that may require aggressive treatment in a hospital setting. If you suspect you have been exposed to a toxic metal, seek medical attention immediately. Diagnosis Diagnosing metal toxicities can be difficult; the symptoms and consequences of many, especially chronic toxicities, are non-specific and may resemble other diseases. A careful analysis of dietary, environmental, and occupational exposure history is one of the most important tools in evaluating a potential metal toxicity (Vearrier 2010). Metal testing can be an important aid to confirm or rule out a diagnosis of metal toxicity. Some metal tests include: Blood testing. Commercial blood tests are available for many metals (universally toxic metals, such as lead and mercury, as well as essential metals that are toxic above certain thresholds, such as iron or copper). Blood levels of cadmium and lead are usually indicative of recent exposures and may not reflect whole body burdens (ATSDR 2007b; ATSDR 2012b). For example, in the case of lead, blood levels are only indicative of exposure over the previous 90 days (ATSDR 2007b). In the case of arsenic, which is cleared rapidly from the blood, blood tests may only be reliable during early stages of intoxication (< 7-10 days after exposure) (Rusyniak 2010). There is a poor correlation between blood levels and exposure for aluminum (ATSDR 2008b). Reference ranges for individual tests depend on the laboratory performing the analysis.
