Sad news for movie lovers around the world. Legendary film critic and Pulitzer Prize winner, Roger Ebert has passed away. The news comes as a shock to family, friends and fans because just a day before, he announced he would be, quote, "taking a leave of presence"Â from reviewing movies at the Chicago Sun Times, to receive another round of cancer treatment. Roger Ebert was 70 years old. Our condolences go out to his loved ones. He will surely be missed.

Tom Cruise is opening up for the first time about his divorce from his wife of five years, Katie Holmes. The actor says he "didn't expect it," but has learned a lot from the experience. Tom spoke to German TV network, Pro Sieben, saying "you need to have a sense of humor," and after turning 50 he had "an unbelievable amount of time to think about it." Hard to have a sense of humor about a divorce when it blindsides you, but hey Tom--at least you are able to put a positive spin on things!
Silvia Pinal has taken to the airwaves of her radio show, Formula, to confirm that her daughter, Alejandra Guzman, is once again single. She stated that she knows the relationship no longer exists but doesn't know the details of how it ended. Back in March, Pinal shot down rumors that her daughter was marrying Adrian Tovar, after pics of the couple appeared on Alejandraâs Twitter. According to mom, Guzman is at peace with the decision and is currently working on new songs. In other ex-drama news, Shakira is not giving her ex Antonio de la Rua money.
At 85 years old, Sara Montiel was known as the first ever Spanish star to have conquered Hollywood. According to the Associated Press, Montiel passed peacefully at her home in Madrid, though causes of her death are unknown. Sara conquered Hollywood in the late 1940âs working alongside Gary Cooper and Burt Landcaster. Close friend to the actress, Spanish actor Jose Sacristan said that the actress was well known to always be smoking a cigarette on set and even said that Ernest Hemingway taught her how to smoke. Montiel was married to film director Anthony Mann.

Us Weekly reports that Cuban-American actor Eddie Cibrian along with wife, country singer LeAnn Rimes are pitching a comedy television series based on their relationship. A source reveals that the couple would play versions of themselves which will center around the real-life drama of the couple and Cibrianâs former wife, Beverly Hill Housewife Brandi Glanville, whom Eddie has two children with. The show is said to have a crazy ex-wife storyilne but will not feature the children. Some TV execs are showing interest in the show, but no said word on whether or not it will be green-lit.
