Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 from Konami for the Nintendo Wii. This is the fifth Pro Evolution Soccer game released for Wii, and the series has had incredible success on Nintendo's platform. Konami has designed a revolutionary control scheme based on the Wii Remote's pointer functionality. Bu if you've never played Pro Evolution Soccer on Wii, that control scheme can be a bit daunting at first. You're essentially playing the entire game with the pointer. Passing, shooting, dribbling...the entire arsenal of soccer maneuvers depends on pointing at the screen. This gives you an almost god like degree of control. But of course, that's been the case since Konami first brought the series to Wii. And if there's one criticism to make about the Pro Evolution Soccer games on Wii, it's precisely that. They simply don't change much from year to year. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Geometry Wars: Galaxies from Bizarre Creations, Kuju Entertainment and Sierra for the Nintendo DS. Geometry Wars: Galaxies is also available for the Nintendo DS. Geometry Wars: Galaxies is a nearly identical package on both Nintendo systems. Almost everything we raved about in our review of the Wii version also applies to Galaxies DS. The core gameplay is still strikingly simple and addictive, so it's a familiar and well rounded package. But there are some unfortunate problems with the DS title that keep it from reaching the stratospheric status of its Wii cousin. First of all, the stunning visuals that make Geometry Wars so compelling to view in motion are less impressive on the underpowered DS, and unfortunately, the stylus controls aren't as good as even the Wii Remote controls. This video review features video gameplay footage of Geometry Wars: Galaxies for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore****Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Nintendo Wii developed and published by Square Enix. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers occupies a strange place within the series: It contains all the hallmarks of a "Final Fantasy" title, like the creatures and tribes and a Moogle named Stiltzkin, yet it plays, acts, and feels nothing like any Final Fantasy before or since. The Crystal Bearers is scarcely an RPG, but every inch an action game, with ever-changing mechanics and quicktime events and run-and-gun combat. Run-and-gun combat that involves grabbing whatever's nearby and flinging it into enemies using a combination of Wii motion controls and telekinesis. This video review features video gameplay footage of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
