  mine is better...at least a bit...it shut downs and boots fast enough but to open the my computer icon immediately after booting can take 2 minutes...or opening paint....start(30 seconds wait)...all programs (60 seconds wait)...accessories (30 seconds wait)...paint...(30 seconds wait until it opens)... this take as long as the antivirus scans the startup objects then it works better

Best trick EVER!
Go to start, and click the arrow near the Lock Button, then click Shut Down, let it do its thing, and when everything in the screen is black, pull out the power cord of the computer.
It's the easiest, fastest trick EVER! Trust me!

  better use the windows shutdowner: start-run-type "shutdown -s -t <how many seconds> -c "<text>" " , where -c means "comment" (it is optional). Trust me I used it today morning when i had to go to the final math exam and the hdd was defragging
