    Any idea why it spiraled when it left the track?

    • because..

      the unbalance force between left half and right half of the rocket.
      one side has more force than the other one, perhaps it cause of shape of rocket or its tail wings, or the rocket's hole is not perfect round, the rail that is not perfect plain, etc....many parameters could cause it.
      good stuff pwddave...!!!! what did you use for the "force-engine" ??
