Unfortunately I wasnt careful and melted the plastic under the light when i went back to clean up the soldering and It messed up the connection. But I think I'll be doing it to a big mag light soon. Those are fun to mod.

Cool. However, you might want to pad the inside with some foam plastic or similar so things won't rattle arond, and maybe add something extra for weight, as you no longer have the weight of the batteries.
