My son and I survived a near fatal crash. A flock of birds seem to have caused this engine explosion as the plane flew over our heads. Luckily my son thought the airplane fire and emergency landing was a fun "boom". The plane managed to land safely and I don't believe anyone was hurt.

I was near the Santa Monica Airport when it happened. There was huge explosion in the air the plane started going down.
