- a scene from Bertrand Blier's 'Les Valseuses', starring Gerard Depardieu and Patrick Dewaere as two drifters who, in this scene, find temporary refuge in an abandoned summer home. It appears that the vernerable French noses of our two friends here have serindipitously discovered 'les restes' of some ethically harvested ambergris. It is tremendously rare. It was one of the most prized findings of sailors (there is a mention of it in the seafaring adventure film “Master and Commander: far side of the world”)
I've corrected, by adding yellow subtitles of my own, a line that was mistranslated by the puritan censors. Note: in France, the legal age of consent is 15.
