Great idea. 1 suggestion.
I like everything about it except the way you attach it to the hat. Maybe a supporting video to come up with a neater way to attach them? It's just that the hat would look so clean if not for that tape across it which cheapens it for me. Cheap fasteners might work, sewing it.

  some of the attachments could be cleaned up a bit, but I did it with nothing but duct tape for the fact that it can be done with just duct tape and some tubing.
