but somehow I feel annoyed by his sudden low and high pitches.
Anyway, watch out when you put those bottles into the freezer, they might get broken by the temperature.
I have seen it done with a water bottle too. One of those plastic water bottles. You open the top, drop the pressure a little, and the entire bottle freezes like a wave from one end to the other.

I had the same reaction with the energy drink named M150 sold in Thailand and some other parts of Asia.
I put it in the freezer for half hour, then need just a little shake to become all frozen, even without opening it as it doesn't contain gas.
The first time I saw it I've got scared about the chemicals is containing, lol!

you think that's fun, try this, sometime when you and your friend has a beer, do just what he did in the video: namely clanking the top of their glass with yours. the CO2 will be released, and the liquid will overflow all over the place. Your friend is now holding a flat beer. Continue drinking yours in front of him.

This is no trick..... This is a supersaturated solution of Sodium Acetate. any chemist knows this. Don't be fooled by this silly prank. Google it, you will see for yourself.

This does not have to be a super saturated solution of Sodium Acetate. It is called super cooling. If you take a bottle of distilled water and freeze it, it will chill below 0 degrees celcius because distilled water has no impurities for the water to start to crystallize. The same can go for beer!

Actually it's called supercooling. Wiki it. It's where you cool a liquid beyond it's freezing point w/o it turning to solid. My mini-fridge at work does this if you put bottled water or bottled soda underneath the freezer section.
The liquid does not freeze because it is calm. Once there is a disturbance the ice crystals start to form and the liquid becomes mostly solid.
to cool it so fast, that the liquid doesn't have time to make an ice crystal. As soon as there is one (for example after a small shock) the liquid will freeze instantly. Indeed, supercooling, as mentioned before.

The point is I've done it before with soda in glass bottles, beer, and plastic bottles of water. Here the disturbance of the carbonation causes movement and provides a "seed" to start a chain reaction.

I have watched videos like this and chilling a beer below zero degrees celcius doesnt freeze until a sharp movement is make or you touch it because alcohol stops the water inside it freezing.
i saw a small tablet type thing explode when you hit togeter bottom right.
It wasn't a tablet, it was the first point of crystallization.
Like he says, you can easily replicate this at home. Give it a try and see.
If you don't have beer you can probably do it with a can of pop. Freeze it for a couple of hours, then take it out and roll it slowly in your hands, then pop the metal tab and it will turn to slush instantly.
You froze a perfectly good beer! Oh well, still five stars!

The process is called "Regelation" or 're-freezing".
The trick is that the beverage/fluid gets cooled beyond the freezing temperature. Water freezes at 0 centigrades (32 Fahrenheid), the beer should have been at about -0.5C (31.5F).
Then the tab that the guys gives gives the "body" enough energy for the fluids temperature to rise to the appropriate coagulation temp.
This bit of "Raising the preasure" is boggus.
This is still a nice trick and the guy can explain...
