But I'm afraid it pales in comparison to the early EVH. It's just not the same without the 5150 stripes, the long hair, etc. If anyone has the video "Live Without a Net"...his solo in that video is the best melodic work of masterful art I've ever witnessed. It's a solo to give you goose bumps and watch over and over and over again.

He made that song from a mistake.....the band was getting ready for recording and he just played it and the engineer recorded it and now it becomes a masterpiece....ROCK ON!!!
