    I'm sure I could rig up something easier, and more effective electro mechanical that will use a small battery.
    Cool concept though. Have you thought about adding a shotgun shell, instead of the caps? :)

  • Yes…..use at night or alone…....

    …while staying or working in 2nd or 3rd world country, alarm systems are still in “beginning” stage; security guard or police are the “informer”. Then, this little DIY booby trap will be handy for you your family.….!

    1. Explosion will make intruders re-consider IF enter this “armed” house.
    2. Put few of these DIY traps on major entrances....door flood as well.
    (Modify this trap to tie with a long strain fish-thread 1ft up above the flood)
    *Each explosion indicates WHERE is (or are) the intruder(s).
    3. Explosion DELAY the time of the intruder coming in ….and gives you
    time to urge the family to run or hide.
    4. No worry if alarm been sabotage or turn off; electricity being cut off or in
    break down interval.

    *Sorry to say…after begin the war in M. East, the impoverished humanity is fleetly ceasing in this world …..

    • 3rd world alarm

      A very cheap alarm for the 3 rd world, would be a tin can with a couple of marbles or small stones hung from the door. When door opens can jiggles the rocks rattle and makes a sound.
