A Discrepant Event is something that will astonish the observer. So how many drops of water can you pile on a penny? It is very incredible. Can you do better? This experiment demonstrates the cohesive forces of water also known as Hydrogen Bonds. These forces are responsible for water forming droplets instead of spreading out.
Nice Job
Water Can Do Many Things
Good in theory, and a nice way to fool observers, but keep in mind the surface of a penny has an edge on it. It's not totally flat. But, that said, it is still impressive that the surface of a penny can hold that much moisture, and plus, "drop" #6 kinda splooged, so I count that as 2 drops. Still, a pretty cool demonstration.
