will it work on gas of an normal lighter?
butane will just evaporate unless it's pressurized. You need liquid lighter fluid, like you use in a zippo.
But could somebody explain what the fluid that he used is (I am swedish). I understand that butane didn't work? I used "Mineral turpentine" i think it's called and it worked fine accept that you burned your hands if you had it in your hands for more than like 5 secs.

you can mostly get it on gas stations in a yellow, sqare, metal container
The fact is that the ball is hot. The fuel dosn't reach max temp until fully ignited(yellow). The bottom is cooler. If you have thick skin you can hold them longer. Rub ice on your hands for a minute then dry them and then you can hold them for much longer. Plus the vid is in some what slower than reality so it looks even longer. Great video! *****
rub some petrolium jelly on your palm
it'll burn our hands even i follow all the instructions. does he hav a thick skin or just immune to fire. pls tell me why i burn my hand. not even 10 seconds
Keep the ball moving. It helps to get your hands wet, too.

I used zippo benzine and I burn my hands

use 90% skin anaseptic rubbing alcohol, it will burn the alcohol off and leave water behind. Jugglers using fire train with this first before using more volitile fuels. Have fun and be safe.
You gotta relax and move it around continously in your fingers and hand. Once you got that, it all is an eye catcher from there.*****

I see many people tried it, and got burnt, the thing is, some can hold longer some can not, but with that said, I have a little tip for you.
I tried adding some water to cool the flame down. And it works. The flame keeps burning the same way, but it lowers the tempature off the bottom of the ball.

Hi , colud some one tell me what is this lighter fuel exectly? cause i cant find anything like this ( im not from US) , i need some translation or some oder name of this fuel to find it . That trick is very impressive
its the lighter fluid that u get from the store...the regular ones not zippo. Ask them...i bet theyll know what the name of the fluid in the reg. lighters are

zippo fluid isnt the same as normal fluid and hot because its mostly just gasoline. you have to use Butane imo, the stuff you refill your normal lighters with.
i used zippo, and i almost got burned... well, my mom said the zippo was more expensive anyways, but she bought it couse it looked more like the one in the video, shes gonna buy the other one 2morow

...for your pain tolerance b/c i just tried this and burnt the sh*t outta myself...i did exactly what you said and couldnt hold it for more than 3-4 secs even with it moving!
its cool. if your afraid like me, rub on some vasaline (i dont know how to spell that word) or hand cream to protect your hands. just becareful.
