Debra Erenberg is Organizing Director for Rainforest Action Network, where she oversees the development of local activist groups, online community-building, and outreach to young people. In her "free time," she serves as Deputy Director of The Essence of True Humanity Is Compassion (The ETHIC) and the ETHIC's Darfur Pledge campaign to end the genocide in western Sudan. Prior to joining RAN, Debra served as Director of Affiliate Resources for NARAL Pro-Choice America. In more than eighteen years of grassroots organizing, election campaigns and nonprofit management, she has also worked with Center for Science in the Public Interest, PETA, the Great Ape Project, and many others.
