Just a note to our English speaking friends. In Russian, one of meanings of the 'number' word is 'show'. So, here is a casuistry. When the road police officer asks the women if she saw the car number, she replies that she never saw such 'number' (in sense of 'show') yet :-) I like this anecdote since 90's when I heard it first time :-)
