These are good dribbling for indoor soccer, we and our friends did some of these years ago; not that effective in big grass field but makes good dribbling on indoor soccer. But I think it is still very impressive even though he does the same thing, he moves the ball very fast on the ground.

They're just some skillful guys who may not be able to use these skills on a footy pitch, but can on a FUTSAL court. There's a big difference between the two, and anyway these amatuer guys are only having fun, so don't take it too seriously!

If you can't do the tricks seen on the vid, give it credit. I know I can't do that stuff, but it's nice to watch.

Wouldn't mind seeing it in a match a couple of times (not too many times as I hate ball hogs).

"yeah if he was doin that id nail him" yeah w/e if you went for the kill on any of dem, youd get the crap deked outta ya. 2. even if you did get the hit in, you go meg him, you prolly get that shiz right backatcha. so cudoz to the ppl who dint diss this and praised rather than being a complete no it all and challenging it.

There was another video, don't remember which. That was no ordinary ball (the dribbled one), it was Dutch indoor football (whatever it is) ball, which is much smaller (u can see if u look), does not bounce that much and is softer. U obviously didn't see it above the ground? So different tricks apply, such as the one keeping foot over the ball...

thats Ruud..he's basically not too good at showing off but as an instinctive finisher, he is arguably the best in the world. His record speaks for that.. scoring 20-25 goals every season. Ruud doesnt have too much besides his finishing and power but anyone who knows about soccer will know what a top marksman he is in the world of football. I dont know who prompted him to make this video and make a fool of himself though.

But most of the moves just could not be done in a game because theres more then 2 guys on theres a whole defence.

ruud7 said its FREESTYLE SOCCER dudes.. that means doing tricks on the streets, it has nothing to do with the real game. of course u can tackle the shiet out of these guys in the real game. but this one is just for show - like those nike ads. and of course the nike ads are better - those players are being paid millions a year to play soccer!

In the streets u can do all those moves but when it comes to a game u wouldent do over half of those moves or any other moves..and he during a game he would of messed him self up and the defenders would figure out all of his moves if he kept doing what he was doing..but still i give it to him he has skill

Sorry to say it, but the players were all set up. No one was tackling him becasue they wern't supposed to, and they wern't playing a proper game. Such as the word- Fake. Skills were good though, not as good as the indoor world skill one on metacafe but still good. keepy up skills were good, and he was very quick with the ball but a bit too much for my liking i think a good tackle would have sent him on his arse and back home to mummy.

That lanky moron would have been totaly annihilated in a real match and i bet the ref wouldnt give a S**t cos he looks like such a knob while executing his "tricks". If i were the opposition and he were doing that bullshit to me in a football id probably turn around and kick him in the face lol.

would be playing for Man U/Barca/Chelsea etc. They only do this beause this is what really footy is about, showing off your skills-note how the other guys hardly tackle the guy doing the skills. They do that so the audience-YOU-can see how skillfull they really are.

And anyway, there are much easier skills to do to get past some1 in a game.

All the things like this I see on this site do leave me wondering how useful it really is on the football field... I play a lot of 5-a-side and whenever you get someone who does anything like this they always turn out to be useless in a team game... trying skills and flicks and turns instead of just passing or shooting! Similarly they don't like to have someone who's prepared to rough them up a bit (I don't mean viciously foul them, I do mean at least trying to tackle them!).

That's what makes Ronaldinho so good... he can do stuff like this but he's also got the strength and vision to make it worthwhile! He's got to be one of the best players the world has ever seen...
