You know nothing. That is why Top Secret which is a large japanese tuner uses a rb26dett motor in their supra to do land speed records.

u know nothing top secret did not use the rb26 engine in there wide arch supra, they used a bored out MR2 turbo engine, the reason because the mr2 turbo engine can produce same power as the standard supra engine..but mr2 engine alllotttt....lighter then supra engin, so mor power to weight

You will probably find it was a V12 engine look it up first before posting.

they used the MR2 engine because they were much more familiar with it, not because it makes as much power as a 2jz

Go back and read some more. The motor in the supra was a skyline motor at first and that was stated in the Sports Compact Car which came out about 5 -6 years ago. They still have the car but it is possible that they changed the motor. At the time when it had the skyline motor it had the speed record in japan with full body meaning ac.stereo etc and it was rated at 1006 hp.

the rb26 comes from the nissan skyline so..
if the supra is sooo good...
why does it need the nissan engine?!

Because the Supra is a better looking car and not so many of them about.Plus its easier to engine swap for an engine already moded rather than spend cash on parts to do it on the 2JZGTE.

That's why I wrote to the previous post of the guy who said Supra is the best. Read the comment I posted again
