criss angel himself shows us how he personally(not sure if all do it) does it. He uses a set of prob pants where he can actually take one leg out(in vid i seen he used his right leg) while the other stays in to create the illusion that both his legs are straight pointing downward, while the other balances on some higher platform not fully extended so it seems like hes floating only inches off the ground. Dont believe me fine , but look for the vid, im sure its either here or on youtube.com

chi cannot lift ur body in the air. chi can only make it so when ur on the ground you are "one" with the earth, and if u move from that spot u have to do 'plant' urself again. u watch too much dragonball z. u can make it so u are "weightless." not necessarily to the point that u r lifted off the ground but so that, well say u planted urself on a scale, u could lessen wut appears on the scale. i used to take tai chi quan n my teacher taught me about these things

I know what you're saying. Obviously magicians have tricks therefore every act is technically 'fake' as they like to call it. They don't have to tell everyone it's a trick, nobody thinks that magicians have super powers (well, they shouldn't). They are just excellent entertainers and their tricks often leave us baffled and speculating on how they did it.

ok i know wat he did...he taped the toothpick to his thumbnail and so whenever he would put his thumb back...the toothpick looks like it disappears but it is really behind his thumb because of the tape....and then when he makes a fist...the toothpick would obviously be there....=P

- Another trick similar
This one is old and looks better with a cigarette. Wet 1/3 (on one side) of a cigarette on the end you do not put in your mouth. Make a fist with your thumb on the inside, press the wet part of the cigarette against your thumbnail with remainder sticking up (similar to what he did with the toothpick), flick your thumb back to you. To make it better have another friend have it done too and do it back and forth with someone in between you.
