I'd still rather have the Porsche
Stock, street porsche VS a purpose - built modified V8 drag car. You can have the air conditioner running, & tune the radio while doing 150 mph on the autobahn. Anyone stupid enough to think that this is a representation of an actual race between a Porsche and a Fiat deserves to.

The porsche is a stock production vehicle where as the small car is highly modified and gutted and probably not even street legal. Not a fair race!

It's not doing 230 MPH
The only way you could do a 230 mph with an 11 sec 1/4 time would be with a 300 mph car that blew the engine part way down the track. If you look at the Porche's time, it's 114 mph, which is right for a 13 sec 1/4. The post is obscuring the 1 from it's time which was 123.50 mph, which is about right for 11 sec car like this one.

It's more than just a light car and a small block engine guys. It takes some horses to make an 11 second 1/4 mile at over 230 mph.

  all it is is a lightweight car with a lightweight engine and some good tires. that's why a viper will always beat a corvette off the line, a small block engine will always accelerate faster that a large block engine.
