Some footage recovered from the Lenovo labs.
its exactly what xbOOt says it is; a media hit, ie. media storm whipped up by some bollocks company to try and get free coverage through internet. Of course its not real 3971, its an advert. I severely doubt they produce laptops for NSA, probably some muppet in a marketing meeting thought that one up. Has eveybody lost their minds these days so that they are so easily fooled by marketing? S**t , this message could be a marketing ploy from one of their competitors... bugger it I'm not using the internet anymore it S**ks ...

By this is my nickname 1146381298 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt would cost too much to mass-product, with those laser-illusions and everything
go to college then post something like that, the whole secret to make things cheap is mass production. Without mass production you wouldn't own a quarter of the stuff in your house right now.

By Kujiguji 1144918615 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeactually the development of a hologram, such as the kind in star trek, are coming close to being complete. think of it. all u need is a series of projectors and a way to control the depth of light on each projected pixel. in simple terms.. think of it as a 3D projector. there are some out already called heliodisplay.. look it up.

By Tuturo 1145089098 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou are right about controlling the depth of light. my friend has manage to stop light in midair too, he was trained by david blaine.

:P skip to the middle of the video
and I heard that warp speed and teleporting are also coming close to being complete.
By sikatriz 1144819919 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenice video effects but this is physically impossible. a holograhm (or any light for that matter) has to be projected onto something to be able to see it. get a laser pointer. you can only see it on the surface or if it's going thru smoke/steam. otherwise the air has no surface to reflect off of.
By 3971 1144725394 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI do agree that a hologram is not possible, but they do have laser pointers that you can see just in the air. They are usually green. These are possible because there are trillions of molecules bouncing through the air, and this powerful light beam can hit them. They are green because it is easier to see the beam because our eyes are able to see different colors easier. (green being the easiest to see) They don’t sell these at regular stores, because the light is much more powerful than the regular laser pointers and so it is easier to blind someone with it.
I know this because my teacher has one (they are used for star gazing usually) and he explained how they worked to me.
They now have laser pointers in green, blue and red which can be seen with the naked eye. some of these lasers can also heal open cuts, ignite wood and light cigars and cigarettes.

By The Shogun 1144706451 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLenovo is the newest hit amongst the media. They are said to be the company that produces laptops for the NSA (National Security Agency) that have a great level of security implemented within them. This on in particular projects a 3D Holographic image of the user to simulate someone using it and that way keeping somebody else hands of it. Just search for "lenovo" at metacafe or even google and you will find some more info. ;)
By xb00t 1144711039 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLenovo is a computer company from China!!! How could that produce laptops for the NSA???
