This is Gia DeSantis. Gia was the one time host of an afternoon music video show called "Request Video." The show was on a local Los Angeles TV station (KDOC-TV) from 1986 to 1991. There wasn't anything like it on Los Angeles TV. The show was totally live with no delay. That meant anything could and did happen. And Gia was in the middle trying to keep it together.
These clips dates from January of 1991. It gives you an idea what Gia was like. As you can tell, Gia is a fun girl.
In November of 1991, Request Video was canceled. And Gia disappeared from the air waves.

If anyone knows what every happened to Gia, please E-mail me. Is Gia in some other part of the country working? Is she still on television somewhere? Is she still alive? Any info will be welcome.
