    This is the runway in the Madeira Island, in the midle of the atlantic. It is autorised for all tipe of planes(even de Biggers) but not for all pilots due to the level of dificulty.

      Ive never heard of such a thing. A legal pilot with current Instrument rating can land at any public airport and a VFR rated pilot can land as long as they can maintain visual flight rules navigation.

      the last pilot overshot the final turn, this airport gets closed quite a lot due to wind :)

      I'm portuguese,I've already landed there a couple of times,and the wings of the plane almost touch the ground due to wind conditions! the airport was very very dangerous because it was too short and too windy! now it has more landing space, but is still dangerous because of the wind! nice post mate =)
