Okay. American football does not "glorify" fat people. Some players, mainly offensive linemen, are very heavy, around 320 pounds. However, they are also very strong and very fast for their size. The vast majority of their mass is muscle, not fat, though there is definitely some fat in there as well. Ideally, they would weigh 320 pounds and it would all be muscle, but that is not really attainable without steroids, which are banned.
