This is physics as well as a cool magic trick. It uses the force of electrostatics to make the paper stick to the ruler. What you need is a fabric, a ruler and some paper. The ruler is then rubbed against the cloth and this gives it a static charge. It is this charge that attracts the bits of paper to it. If you do this well, the paper will actually jump at the ruler. No strings or glue required!!! This cool trick is funny and needs no preparation. It also teaches some science, which is good...Well... NOT REALLY!
