You can't visit Glacier National Park without taking this short 1.5 mile hike (one way) to absorb the beauty of this magnificiant waterfall.Take the St Mary Falls trailhead off the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Allow several hours espcially if you are a photographer. You will want to spend time at St. Mary Falls (.08 from trailhead one way) before you finish the easy hike to Virginia Falls. We spent a whole afternoon just watching, and hiking and soaking up the beauty. Another not-to-be-missed vacation spot.
