      Planet Earth cannot be the ONLY planet that was lucky enough to have life formed on it. And actually... I often laugh at the thought that: we say God loves us the most, that's why he/she/it (or whatever) made us so smart.... well, I wonder: If those things we call "aliens" are so damn smart... how dare WE say that we are God's favourites? And there are many possibilities... there are NO facts...(because facts lock out possibilities!) some people say that aliens might even be angels sent from heaven....(if there is such thing as Heaven) or we could say: The aliens we see are actually "people" from the future, and the reason why they look different is evolution. Biologists say, that it is impossible for life to form without Oxygen, and water.... but when ever I hear that, I laugh into their faces, because: The life that WE KNOW can't exist without water or Oxygen... See, humans only see things ONE way... I think we should all see EVERYTHING from different views >> this way, we could even avoid conflicts! I DO believe that it isn't only Earth that carries life on its surface! I do believe, that if Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun, then if we would (try) to go and see another solar system, and meet the 3rd planet from the sun, we might actually meet the EXACT same form of life, but I think it would be more likely to be different... I don't know... I am just a thinker. I do not KNOW.... I only THINK. Because even if you say you DO know..... you never do!

      just because aliens were able reach us and our solar system makes them about a millinion times smarter than us. With our current technology it would take us bilions of bilions of years (that's a number without exegeration) to travel the same distances.

      is EXACTLY what I've been thinking for so long. We DO NOT know what life really is. I guarantee the first life we ever encounter in the universe is either some low-formed algae or something completely different. There's not going to be green aliens with big-ass eyes and hands with three fingers. Evolution would form their bodies to their surroundings. There was an interesting little UFO show on the Science Channel, all about life on a made up planet, but was interesting was how NASA showed different made up life forms in a REALISTIC way. There were weird looking blue monsters with no hands and giant beasts that have big glowing orange strands of light coming from the centers of their bodies. It means that life is not as simple as people believe it to be.

      Depending on how their environments evolved them, they will be COMPLETELY different from what we will EVER expect, I guarantee that to you.

      There may be 9872359825 elements that we haven't found that can create life.

      I mean Aliens could (seriously) be giant balls of intelligent goo for all we know. They could be ANYTHING. People need to stop setting their standards for life outside the Earth so low as 'Oxygen breathing, water drinking, blood carrying creatures with 2 hands, 2 legs 2 eyes and a brain.'

      The universe is so freaking big, no one can say that the universe is endless, just because our technology doesn't give us that advantage of reaching so far doesn't mean people can say that its endless, from my point of view I think if we could actually reach further into space, then we would find another form of life, but because we are probably so far away from that life we can't come up with a technology that would bring us there.
