Here is a simple solution for those model airplanes and helicopters that need a 12 VDC power supply to run their battery chargers. Mr. Herbert's science class shows a way to run those chargers and charge the batteries inside your house instead of off the car's cigarette lighter receptical.

    the red wires opposite of the yellows are 5 volts, which I'm sure can be usefull for several things. I'm putting my spare power supply in a box with a power switch, amp gauge, couple 12 volt bolt-head style terminals, a couple cigarette lighter jacks, and for the red 5 volt I'm installing a series of USB ports so I can charge my mp3 player and more. Anybody reading this that's interested in this stuff make sure that your power supply box has enough amps (current) to power what you're trying to run on it. (i.e. your car amp most likely needs much more than your box can dish out.)
