    i realize that both perspectives on the flashlight vs torch fiasco have their good points but being canadian i will keep the peace and also show how smart we are. while torch is an appropriate term because flahlights are modern hand held fires it is an outdated term since it no longer is fire. as to how flash lights dont flash; it isnt meant to mean the light flashes. it means its a light in a flash- quick light. now cant we all get along and stalk people in the dark
