      The person run over was treated for only minor injuries and released from the hospital the same day!! The shaking on the stretcher was him in shock from being run over, but apart from that, he miracuolusly survived with scrapes and cuts only.

    Could be Shock, after slamming into the car infront of him, he may not have been able to control his actions. Just as people have been known to pick cars off of people.

    I'm not a doctor, and wont get into the many different cemicals found and released during times of crises, but I have seen people do stuff like this and then not remember doing it. But if he did do it on purpose he should have the S**t beat out of him.

    There is nothing that could have EVER happened to him to cause him to do that. He saw that boy and I'd have a hard time believing he didn't see him or didn't have enough time to stop. Don't these people have a voice in their heads telling them right from wrong? 1. If I saw someone in front of me that I thaght I was gonna run over, the breaks would be on, 2. Even if I still did hit annother human, I dunno, I'd be horrified, he had a look of indifference. I know there are people like this in the world, I hope never to meet one.

    not to defend the driver - (he was definitely at fault and either on drugs or something) but I don't believe he turned purposely at the person on the sidewalk...if you watch he is full on the gas burning out the tires against the other car and then a slight movement caused the entire front end to shift right - he didn't actually really turn that much - and he was still full on gas...I don't know the details but the guy was not in his right mind and I don't believe that he intended to run over the guy on the sidewalk...maybe he had road rage or something and just had the gas slammed down and he couldn't react quickly enough to the shift of the car and then hit the guy...just a theory.
