Spirituality: People Don't Want To Hear Spiritual Truth

Talk on: Why people don't want to hear the truth?

Truth is bitter. God is the truth. It is easy to say, but difficult to digest. Truth is always bitter. If I say the whole truth, you will shake up and be in shock. Your beliefs will be fully gone.
For example, if I said, God is not Almighty and that the Bible is not the Word of God, people will be shocked. The truth is God is not almighty because God isn't a person. The Bible isn't the Word of God because the Bible are the teachings of Jesus.
A Jain Temple had on the outside "Hail Truth" but inside there was no statue of Malibai, the only Female Tirthankar. One Jain sect claims that Malibai is a man, and has a different name. Yet, on the outside of the temple it says, "Hail Truth." There was a female Tirthankar. Accept it.
I have to give truth a little bit at a time. It's as if I give a bitter candy that is sugar-coated to someone. They taste the truth both sweet and bitter. Slowly people will learn to hear the bitter truth.
For example, There is no life after death.
The Hindus believe in Incarnation, but Incarnation in that sense does not exist. Life continues. Soul never dies.
People have a hard time hearing the truth. They resist it.
Christians and Muslims don't want to hear the truth about meditation. Meditation is not even a religion. Since meditation did not come from their own religion, they choose not to practice it.
Meditation is a tool for spiritual growth. It is proven by medical doctors that it helps release toxins from the brain and it helps a person relax.
Yet, the Muslims and Christians won't do it, because it isn't part of their religion.
Meditation is not a religion and neither is Yoga.
Yoga is a physical exercise that helps people, mentally, physically, and spiritually. It is not a religion.
Pope John Paul II announced once that Yoga was bad. He put yoga down, and in turn Europeans started to get curious about yoga and began practicing yoga. It is a tool that can help you connect to God.
God is the highest power. This highest power is highest consciousness. We can all connect to this higher consciousness.
Hindu Mythology says that only God created the earth. Then who created that God?
The truth is, soul and matter exist and co-exist. Truth and God are not separate from us. Everything is God.
Truth prevails forever.
