Talk on: Number of Breaths are not fixed before death? Dr. Acharya Yogeesh: Some religions believe, including the Jain religion, that the number of breaths are fixed before death. That is why some Hindus, and Yoga Masters, yogis, control their breath in order to increase their age, or time they will live. I am here to tell you that age cannot be increased. Age is destined, the breaths you take or don't take through control cannot increase your age. Remember, Yogis and Yoga masters are not enlightened. They have had no glimpse of truth, Samadhi, or realization. With no glimpse of truth, do you think they can hold their breath and live longer? Be healthy. If you want to live a healthy and peaceful life, be health. Breath is not fixed. Only age.
