http://www.practicalenvironmentalist.com Whole Foods is phasing out plastic bags, and to kickstart this change, they gave reusable bags away to customers. Taking your own shopping bags to the grocery store or super market is one way to do your part.
I totally agree with this video. A huge store called IKEA charges for plastic bags, which is a great idea. They are also getting rid of plastic bags altogether in the near future, which is a good idea, too.
