The headlock is a very common move used in the playground or in a bar fight. This simple escape will help you defend yourself against a headlock.

- One escape will lead to another move...
  In a real fight you're going to get hit no matter how well you know a move. Your goal is to take the least amount of punishment. You might eat a punch or two, but it's better than eating a dozen punches if you can't escape from that hold. Once you escape you won't just sit there. I just gave you one peice of the puzzle to many moves to follow.

  @ Check-it-out, yes you're right, if you are in a real situation things become harder to do and remember but if you do this lots of times, then you won't forget it when you're in a real fight.
  
  @Johnny Rock Stah, yes but if he does something else then you expect you don't just continue with the headlock. You will also improvise so if you do that copple of times you could get him into the headlock.. Though you should practise it really good :)

  my meaning was that the taking of his arm may not be so easy if he is aggressive and swinging..

Like you said in Vid. 2... you're always gonna eat a punch or three... but it's better than twenty...
and, uhm... does the lifting part work as effectively if your opponent is really heavy?
