A former professional gambler explains why playing a slot machine is no way to win. He explains why winning at slots is not random, and why no skill is involved. He demonstrates how to program one of the popular slot machine models, which in itself proves that slot machines are programmed to take your money, instead of paying you a jackpot.

    • Thanks

This is something that many people just dont want to know. This info breaks their illusion and fantasy about slot machines. But as I tried to beat home in this video, if the law requires a machine payout at a certain percentage and it is programmed to do so, then it cannot really be random, and we cannot really have any control over where the drums stop. Just like in horse racing, things are not always what they seem, and the fastest horse does not always win.

    • Thanks for your interest

I'm under certain contractual restrictions about what I can and cannot talk about, at this time, your request is one of the things I cannot talk about. But hopefully in the not so distant future, I will no longer have any guidelines or restrictions upon me.

  • JUGGLER

    HI!
Im living in Japan and here we have same machine you show on the video, its called Juggler .
I still playing slot , but I know everything you said is all true , its hard to win a real money from them , and other thing that we can see here is what they call SAKURA , is a person who plays for the casino ,just to show that is possible to win a lot , but its kind of dirty because they know which machime will pay , they have inside information .
anyway , my advice is if you want to play ,do it for fun , but do not expect too much from slots.
    peace

  • What about inter-active?

What about inter-actice machines like Jackpot Party? How does the pre-programmed machine know where I'm going to touch the screen?

Where can I get one of these slot machines?

  • ******

Gr88 job, Is there any way out to know when the machine is about to be full??

By Chandu_clong 1202547795 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Good Question

When some machines are full they will start paying out small wins every 3 to 5 spins. But the best thing to do, is ask an employee how often the machines are emptied, and if you see a machine that is being serviced, stay away from it once it is put back in service. If you spend time around the machines, you may see what time of day they are full and more apt to payoff.

  • SLOT MACHINES NOT RANDOM

WELL DUH,WE ALL AINT 16 YR OLD ON HERE TELL US SOMETHING USEFULL

By Hop-on 1202232309 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • I hope some find this info usefull

As I already mentioned, the idea of having no real control over the spin, is too hard for some people to accept. It shatters their illusions about playing the slots. There are people who will try to sell you secret info about how to win at slots and how to use a random number generator to forecast the results of the next spin, but the truth is, aside from the basics on time of day and day of the week, there are no REAL winning secrets.

    • Thanks for watching.

And yes, I also feel this is a well duh, issue. But there are a lot of people who either forgot this, or who never heard it. Even in my own family, it is nearly impossible for them to believe this, and that is why I showed how a slot machine is programmed. I set up 3 of my slot machines to never pay out, and I set the 4th one to always payout, and some of my friends still don't get it; they just think its a lucky machine.

  • 8 to 1

he could have made this video in 1 min instead of 8 minutes. why did he call the title how to win at slots should have been how to win at slots by not playing

By mep2003 1202187451 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Yes, the way to win is not to play

Yes, the way to win is not to play because the spin is not random, and you have no real control where the drums stop. But if you cannot resist and must play the slots, walk away from a losing machine, dont get lured in by the teasers, and keep an eye out for a machine that is paying out for someone else.

By BigGuyBeans 1202193879 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Yes it was too long

If you think this is bad at 8 minutes, you would have really hated it at the original length of 19 minutes. Yes, I too wish it could have been shorter, but then it would have been hard to show how to program it, to discuss the basic operation of a slot machine, and drive home the point that it is not random. I edited out how we would empty the coin hoppers before the busy hours and more frequently on paydays, to keep the slot machines in an earning mode. I tried to make the video a seeing is believing kind of thing. I'm sure that some people will still think that they have some control over the game.
